WSD Honors National Correctional Officers and Employees

Windham School District thanks and praises the thousands of hard-working and dedicated individuals serving in the corrections profession. We especially appreciate the service of our Texas Department of Criminal Justice partners, who help make it possible for WSD to offer successful education programs throughout the TDCJ system.

The jobs of TDCJ corrections employees are demanding and stressful, yet they respond admirably and reliably day after day. TDCJ officers are some of the most capable, committed and brave individuals; their devotion to safety and security is invaluable.

We also give tribute to those whose lives have been lost in service and extend our most heartfelt sorrow and gratitude for their sacrifice.
