'We are Windham' video proudly explains why, how WSD changes lives. Now available online.

We Are Windham!
"We are Windham. We are ready for change. We are second chances for men and women formerly incarcerated in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. We change our society."

We are Windham

So begins "We are Windham," a recruitment and informational video created by WSD explaining why Windham focuses on helping offenders across Texas become job-ready and change their lives for success upon release.

 We are Windham

WSD stakeholders are a far-reaching and diverse group including offender students, families of offenders, potential employers, Texas lawmakers, WSD school volunteers, Windham employees, correctional partners such as TDCJ and of course, the public at large. Though diverse in membership, this group shares responsibility for the success of the dramatic transformation portrayed in "We Are Windham."

Windham Counseling, Testing and Records serves students and staff, by providing staff training, assessing outside educational achievements, coordinating educational transfers, implementing computer-based testing and maintaining educational records for Windham students.

Lasting only two minutes and 30-seconds, the video is being shown at various graduation ceremonies, meetings with potential employers, employee recruitment events, new hire trainings, staff development meetings, and other events. "We are Windham" is available for viewing online (via YouTube) at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRSy34RwYd0.
