Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college/university. Each year of experience as described below may be substituted for thirty semester hours from an accredited college/university on a year-for-year basis.
High School Diploma from an accredited high school or GED with a minimum of four years
experience in administering occupational aptitude or educational tests preferred.
Knowledge of testing procedures is preferred. Ability to communicate ideas and instructions clearly and concisely. Skill to proofread with accuracy is preferred. Organizational skills preferred. Skill in organizing and maintaining accurate records. Skill to interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Administer and/or assist in the administration of the Educational Achievement test for incoming offenders. Administer and/or assist in the administration of the General Education Development (GED) test. Administer and/or assist in the administration of vocational and language assessments for offenders. Establish and maintain security of all testing materials and test booklets. Organize and plan testing sessions for incoming offenders as needed. Examine all testing information for accuracy and correctness. Arrange for the timely delivery of testing materials to the assigned campuses. Assist in compiling statistical testing information and reports for assigned campuses. Assist in the dissemination of diagnostic data within assigned campuses. Maintain testing records for assigned campuses. Develop procedures for the efficient and accurate flow of information, reports, and test data for the units in the region and central administration offices.
