For each posted position for which you are applying, you must submit copies of all documents verifying minimum qualifications for the posted position. ** You must submit a photocopy of your official transcript verifying the required coursework needed for verification of minimum education requirements. ** WSD will no longer be able to access employee or applicant files for transcripts or other documents.


Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college/university. Each year of experience as described below may be substituted for thirty semester hours from an accredited college/university on a year-for-year basis.

OR

High School Diploma from an accredited high school or GED with a minimum of four years

experience in administering occupational aptitude or educational tests preferred.

Special Knowledge / Skills:
Knowledge of testing procedures is preferred. Ability to communicate ideas and instructions clearly and concisely. Skill to proofread with accuracy is preferred. Organizational skills preferred. Skill in organizing and maintaining accurate records. Skill to interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Major Responsibilities & Duties:
Administer and/or assist in the administration of the Educational Achievement test for incoming offenders. Administer and/or assist in the administration of the General Education Development (GED) test. Administer and/or assist in the administration of vocational and language assessments for offenders. Establish and maintain security of all testing materials and test booklets. Organize and plan testing sessions for incoming offenders as needed. Examine all testing information for accuracy and correctness. Arrange for the timely delivery of testing materials to the assigned campuses. Assist in compiling statistical testing information and reports for assigned campuses. Assist in the dissemination of diagnostic data within assigned campuses. Maintain testing records for assigned campuses. Develop procedures for the efficient and accurate flow of information, reports, and test data for the units in the region and central administration offices.

Other Information:
The only acceptable application is the Supplement dated or 04/17 and the State of Texas Application dated 09/09. These may be obtained through the WSD Human Resources Department or the WSD website: www.wsdtx.org

Applicants who are ERS or TRS Retirees or Retirees from Correctional Managed Health Care are required to write "ERS/TRS/CMHC" at the top of the application form.

Applicants who do so are requested to fax **ONLY** their "State of Texas Application for Employment", Applicant Contact Information form (HD-100) and verifiable typing score if required. WSD employees and all applicants with a current WSD application on file must submit the "State of Texas Application for Employment" and all supporting documents for each posted position to WSD Human Resources Office by the closing date and time.
