Assist in disseminating library information, resources, and materials to principals, teachers, and offenders. Assist with developing, maintaining, and organizing library materials and equipmentAssist in disseminating resource information available in the library to provide offenders with appropriate reading and research materials. Assist in directing and training SSI Offender Library Aides in library policies and procedures. Assist in receiving/shipping of library materials and daily circulation procedures of the library. Assists in maintaining unit library inventory documents and computerized inventory records. Assist in maintaining and organizing the circulation of library materials. Assists in inventory, care, and maintenance of library equipment. Assist in maintaining records and preparing required reports for the library. Assist in providing guidance for offenders using the library in the location of resources and use of research techniques. Assist in processing new books, supplies, and equipment to be placed in circulation. Assist in maintaining inventory of library supplies and equipment. Prepare and submit special reports as required by the Administrative Office.
