Board Appoints Kristina Hartman Next Superintendent
**The following message is provided on behalf of Chairman Wainwright**
I am pleased to announce that on Friday, June 21, 2019, the Windham School Board of Trustees voted unanimously to appoint Kristina Hartman as the next superintendent of the Windham School District. Effective August 1, 2019, Ms. Hartman will serve as the Acting Superintendent, reporting to retiring Superintendent Dr. Clint Carpenter; and effective September 1, 2019, Ms. Hartman will assume the duties of superintendent.
Ms. Hartman most recently served as the Windham School District Division Director for Instruction, and previously was the Chief of Programs for academic, career and technical education, and chaplaincy programs for the Florida Department of Corrections’ fifty-eight institutions. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Political Science from Baylor University, and earned an MA in Special Education, as well as an Ed.S Degree from the University of West Florida. We look forward to her continued dedication and leadership. Please join us in congratulating Ms. Hartman on her selection as the next superintendent.
