"I would hire every student in this class, right now" (Brian Robinson)

Kiewit/The Industrial Company (TIC) Regional Recruiting Manager, Brian Robinson recently traveled from Denver, Colorado corporate office to join the Windham School District's NCCER Welding Class on the Hilltop Unit in Gatesville, TX.

Mr. Robinson addressed the Windham Welding Class, not only on the career opportunities with Kiewit/TIC, but the value and need for female welders in today's job market all over Texas. He also emphasized the importance of "soft skills", job safety and patience on every job site. Mr. Robinson highlighted that entry-level structural welding jobs, as well as other construction trades are available.

He noted that Kiewit/TIC offers advanced training in Pipe Welding to their employees on every site. He also gave an overview of the Kiewit/TIC benefit package that includes ample Overtime, Insurance, paid holidays and an employee retirement savings option.

Mr. Robinson took time to go "under the hood" with every student in the class, demonstrating and providing individual instruction on industrial welding techniques and preparation requirements.
