Lowe's Market meets with Windham School District - Lowe’s Supermarket, headquartered in Littlefield, Texas, operates more than 150 stores in Texas and New Mexico. In an effort to meet their hiring needs in its meat market areas in rural Texas towns, Lowe’s contacted Windham School District to form a partnership that will benefit WSD students after release.

Windham School District offers females expanded course offerings, career options - Expansion of job training programs for female offenders is unfolding in Gatesville, according to Windham School District (WSD) administrators. "WSD is proud to offer new programming for female offenders incarcerated at units in Gatesville," said Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department administrator Rick Jones. All programming is part of Windham's continued efforts to provide cutting edge career and technical education.

Windham School District educators, students welcome Workforce Solutions to Wynne Unit - Working in partnership with the Gulf Coast Workforce Board - Workforce Solutions, Windham School District's workforce department brought Workforce Solutions to the Wynne Unit for a job fair where students could learn employment and workplace skills. With support from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ), more than 60 Career and Technical Education students were in attendance, representing the welding, diesel mechanics and small engine repair classes.
