Book Donations

Before any books are received by Windham School District, they must be approved by the superintendent. The donor will fill out the donation forms and return them to Windham. All proposed donation book titles and ISBNs must be provided before the request form can be processed. The Windham staff member who receives the form will then send to the library services administrator who will route for approval.

If the donation is approved, the donor will then bring or ship the books to the Windham Library Services department. Once books are received, they become property of the state and will not be returned to the donor. Library Services will make the determination of where books are needed and route them accordingly. There are over 100 libraries in the Windham School District available for placement consideration.
